Cape Town is TechStep Academy's home. Our training venue is in Blackheath, where we teach in small, hands-on classes, and we also run live online classes for Capetonians who prefer to learn from home or the office.
Cape Town combines the country's legislative capital, a busy port, a large finance and insurance sector, a film and creative industry and one of Africa's most active start-up communities. That mix creates demand for every level of digital skill, from confident everyday computer use to building websites and writing code.
Our in-person classes are designed for Capetonians who learn best face to face, with a facilitator beside you and a group around you. Learners from the City Bowl to Khayelitsha, Bellville and the Southern Suburbs study with us, and anyone who would rather avoid the traffic can join the same programme live online.
